BIO
Hello, I’m Shokirie Clarke, a multifaceted visual artist, dancer and model from South East London.

In all of my work I aim to thoughtfully represent movement and culture. I draw on my personal experiences as dancer, model and BA Architecture graduate from the Manchester School of Architecture by translating energy in motion through both an informed and empathetic lens.

MOVES MAGAZINE
In 2022 I founded MOVES Magazine, with a desire to improve the representation of dance art and dance culture in publications. MOVES exists as a window into the world of movement highlighting nuance, celebrating artistry, and building bridges across creative industries. It naturally lives at the intersection where dance meets fashion, music, art, and culture, delivered in a way that feels both elevated and familiar.

Since its inception, I have served as the Creative Director and Editor-in-Chief.
